Protecting the Quality — and the Future — of Work on Our Marketplace

Our marketplace only works when the work is good. Buyers come here because they trust that they’ll receive honest, high-quality results, and that trust is what keeps jobs flowing and rates rising for the freelancers who earn them.
We want to be clear about where things actually stand, because a narrative has taken hold that simply isn’t true. Some have claimed the platform is full of cheating or bad-faith buyers.
It isn’t. Across all completed work, approximately 1% of tasks are rated “not satisfied.” The overwhelming majority of buyers are fair, engaged, and paying for exactly what they ask for.
The problem we’re addressing is different. A small number of freelancers have been cutting corners: spam, low-effort submissions, and attempts to game our tasks, especially on AI data collection jobs. Left unchecked, that behavior costs every honest freelancer here the opportunities they’ve earned.
You may have noticed fewer video jobs lately. The reason is simple: cheating and collusion among freelancers have made buyers lose trust, and many are posting fewer jobs as a result. This includes coordination happening on Telegram and other collusion networks. When buyers lose confidence, jobs dry up. We won’t let that happen.
So effective immediately, we’re enforcing a strict, zero-tolerance standard across the marketplace:
- Spamming, cheating, or submitting deliberately low-quality work (this includes Telegram groups and other forms of collusion networks.) will result in permanent account closure, without exception.
- AI data collection tasks are held to the highest standard. These jobs are the foundation of better, higher-paying work for our community, and their integrity is non-negotiable.
- Reviews will be thorough, and enforcement will be firm and final.
If you show up and do honest, careful work, none of this changes anything for you, it protects you. Cutting corners hurts the people beside you who are building something real here. Our commitment is simple: reward the freelancers who take pride in their work with a healthier marketplace and more opportunity.
Thank you for helping us keep this a place where good work is valued and rewarded.
